杜逸帆，布農族，Talum Isbabanal，在劇場大家都叫他阿杜。他身上流著原住民跟平地人的血，他有著原住民的樂天，總是喜歡說笑話，至於好不好笑，見仁見智；另一方面又有自己處事的一套準則。所以他這個人有些矛盾，樂天卻又謹慎過了頭。曾經回去部落生活一年，卻因為水土不服，又搬到山下，在美濃租了一個房子，同時又常常在臺北接案子，過著雙城市的生活。除了在劇場創作，另一方面也是原住民新聞議題的攝影師。近幾年的「亞泥案」，就是他長期關注的議題之一。對他來說，新聞可以打開視野，劇場可以深化事件，他也曾經在這兩條路上糾結，最後它們終於達到平衡。新聞採訪的事件可以是他創作的主題，劇場的溫度也可以應用在新聞採訪人性的一面。
他希望可以在山上蓋一個劇場，邀請台灣、世界各地的藝術家一起來創作，給全世界的人觀看。
Yi-Fan Du, a Bunun named Talum Isbabanal. Everyone in theatre field calls him A-Du. The blood of both highland indigenous people and plains people is flowing in his body. He has this “indigenous” type of optimism, on one hand making him a humorous person who loves to tell jokes (whether the punchlines effectively hit differs from person to person), but on the other hand making him a person who follows his principles—so you can say this person is a bit contradictory, optimistic but meanwhile too prudent about things. He has once moved back to his tribe for a year, but then moved downhill because of being acclimatized. Commuting back and forth between two cities, he rent a house in Meinong and worked on a piecework basis for taking performing cases in Taipei. Besides, he is also a photographer focusing on indigenous peoples’ issues. For instance, he has concerned about the “Asia Cement Corporation Case” for a long time. After struggling between being a journalist and being an actor, he reached a balance: it dawns on him that news events can broaden one’s horizons, while theatrical plays can arouse people’s thinking on these events. An event he interviewed and investigated on can be a topic for his creative work, and the warmness he’s received in performance can be passed down when he interviews others.
He wants to build a theater in the mountains where he can invite artists from different countries to make arts that can be presented to the whole world together.
