除此之外，遠古的人們也早已開始了動物轉化，

一個古老的瑜珈修行者，轉化了動物為體位法，為了通往靈性修行之路，

一個古戰場的士兵，轉化了動物為拳腳套路，為了穿越生死相搏的瞬間。

一個古代部落裡的巫師，轉化動物為舞蹈，為了招喚崇拜的神靈與先祖。

動物轉化的課程，會帶領你重新喚起感官，重新經歷生與死，

你有機會找尋自己的動物，並重新與最原始脈動連結。

You may not have noticed, but the idea of animal transformation has already been a huge part of our lives, including Donald Duck the cartoon character, Sun Wukong in the Journey to The West, Medusa in Greek mythology, and even the politicians portrayed as donkeys in caricatures!

Aside from these, people in the ancient times also practiced animal transformation: an ancient yoga practitioner would transform animals into yoga poses in order to achieve spiritual elevation; a soldier fighting an ancient war would transform animals into combat skills so as to survive; a wizard of an ancient tribe would transform animals into dance moves so as to summon gods and ancestors that the tribe worshipped.

The workshop of Animal Transformation leads you to rediscover your senses and to revisit the feelings of life and death. There are going to be plenty of opportunities for you to look for your own “animals” and reconnect with your most primal impulses.

動物遊戲

所有的遊戲原型都是鬼抓人，也就是生與死直接碰觸。原始動物們每天都在生與死當中擺盪著，而人類創造出遊戲的空間，來練習面對死亡，在動物遊戲當中，我們有機會重新喚醒生之本能， 回到原始動物的內在。

動物的感官開發

動物沒有汽車來代步，沒有衣服來創造另一種身分職業，他們的世界很直接，只有自己的肉身來面對每天的生與死，因而感官上必須極為敏銳，蛇對於地面的震動很敏感，老鷹能與氣流共舞並擁有尖銳的視覺，蝙蝠透過聽覺來觀看世界。每個動物為了與自己的身處的環境共存而演化出獨特的生存方式，進入動物的感官，是轉化的第一步。

獵殺之舞

在生與死的追逐獵殺之中，我們透過動物轉化將其變為一支充滿戲劇性張力的舞蹈，在這裡我們回到了古典的身體法則，讓戲劇、音樂、舞蹈流竄在體內，這是一個三位一體的創作性練習。

Animal Games

It goes without saying that the prototype of all childhood games is “Tag”, in which one can be “dead” every second. While wild animals face matters of life and death every day, human beings create games to help them practice such a thing. Animal Games, too, allows us to awake our survival instinct, rediscovering our primal, animal-like inner self.

Animal Sensory Development

Without vehicles to transport them from one place to another and clothes to display their identities, animals can only depend on their bodies in the face of life and death. Therefore, it is important for them to have keen senses: snakes are sensitive to the vibration of the ground, eagles are able to dance in harmony with airflow and to see rather clearly, and bats sense the world through their hearing. Every species of animal has developed their way of survival to coexist with the environment in which they live. The first step of achieving animal transformation, therefore, is to resonate with animals’ senses.

The Hunting Dance

We have transformed the process of hunting down a prey into a dance full of dramatic tensions. This dance brings back the classical physical rules, allowing the energies of music, dance, and drama to flow through our bodies and serving as a practice that incorporates three different creative skills.

Advanced Class for Actors

Suggested schedule:

1. One-week intensive classes (about 10-12 sessions in total)
2. 1 to 2 classes per week, lasting 2 to3 months (about 12-14 sessions in total)

Advanced classes still start from the basics, moving from games and exploration of animals’ senses to researching and analyzing animals’ habits and characteristics, and thus finding an inner animal that represents ourselves.

Ancient Summoning Ritual

Through ancient, primitive drumming, we transform ourselves into wizards and warriors in tribes and become the earth, the water, the fire, the wind, or even a beast.

Searching for an Inner Animal

Many primitive tribes see certain animals as their guardian angels, and theories of constellation and zodiac signs also use animals as coordinates for human characteristics. The advanced classes provide you with an opportunity to conduct an in-depth analysis on an animal and therefore create an unique story out of this animal.
