Intro

演出簡介

三名演員,六根竹竿,一張塑膠布,

瘋狂的想像力與極簡而細膩的物件劇場,

演繹一則馬來西亞口耳相傳的鬼故事。

每當月光光的夜半時分,怡保的街頭就會異常寧靜。所有人家都會家門緊閉,小朋友們躺在床上把自己包得緊緊的,害怕聽見敲門聲響:

「有沒有奶水可以給我的孩子?」

她會挨家挨戶得敲門詢問。
傳說中,如果沒有奶水可以分享,家中的小孩就會被她帶走,再也回不來。三個好奇心旺盛又冒冒失失的臭小孩,決定今晚不要躲在棉被裡,半夜相約要去竹林深處「抓女鬼」。這一去,沒抓到鬼,反倒是揪出女鬼生前不為人知的真實故事……


三缺一劇團以物件劇場的形式轉化傳統戲曲中「一桌二椅」、「境隨心轉」的無窮變化,用一個小時、兩種物件、三位演員,回到70年代經濟起飛的怡保,一探究竟。

Wild imagination and simplistic yet exquisite object theatre — to depict a well known Malasian ghost story. 

 

Every time when the moon comes out in the middle of the night, the streets in Ipoh becomes oddly quiet. Every family would shut their doors tight, and the children would cover themselves with quilts in bed, fearing they might hear: 

 

“Do you have any breast milk for my baby?” 

She would go house by house asking. 

 

They say, if you don’t have breast milk for her baby, she will take the children in the family and never returns. Tonight, three harum-scarum curious little kids decide not to hide in their beds, and go deep into the bamboo forest to “capture the ghost lady”. As they went in, instead of catching the ghost, they end up digging out the unknown true story of the lady when she was alive… 

 

One Player Short Ensemble maneuver the transformational idea of “one table two chairs”, “one place in every place” in traditional chinese opera with the sense of object theatre. Two kinds of objects, three actors, in an hour, to bring the audience back to Ipoh in the 70’s at economic takeoff, and find out what happened. 

道具的轉換使用強化了戲劇張力,平常故事亦有令人驚豔之處,而經過劇場的轉繹,亦再度挖掘我們對古老傳說的認識。

The multiple use of props reinforced the dramatic dynamic of the play. Ordinary stories can also be fascinating, and with theatrical transformation we get to expand our knowledge for old folklores.

靈活的身體姿態與物件建構出來的流動視聽經驗皆為這層現場意識的展現。......卻是真正連結演員劇場做活戲的魅力所在,也是現代劇場可以持續與傳統對話的部份。

Flexible physicality and the fluid visual/audio experience created by objects are important elements that realize a sense of awareness. It is the key charm of how actors makes a performance come to life, and this is where contemporary theatre could converse with traditional theatre.
