演出簡介

「內在深處的棲息之地，居住著怎樣的一隻獸？」

 

《LAB貳號—穴居》是從《LAB壹號 ‧ 實驗啟動》中對動物轉化的身體進行再次探尋，演員從自己內在的洞穴中去找尋一隻獸，被馴化的獸在都市叢林中甦醒。

 

一場更深層的自我揭露之旅，那渴望被碰觸卻忽略的自我隱藏了什麼？

那棲息於內在深處的獸，那股不可言的衝動。

 

“What kind of beast is it dwelling deep in your subconsciousness?” 

 

LAB No.2 Cave Dwelling can be seen as a journey which once again set out from the physical exploration of animal transformation in LAB No.1 Launch Out. Actors started to look for the beasts inside their cave, subconsciousness. The tamed beasts revive from the jungle of metropolitan city.    

 

This is a journey in which the actors dive into self-disclosure. What is hidden within one-self, which is often neglected and yet full of desire to be touched? We’re calling the dwelling beast and the unspeakable impulse.

《lab 貳號：穴居》為演員設下的目標本身就勾引著演員的弔詭的趣味。它要演員挖掘「棲居於內心深處的獸」，讓它成為「演員的個人圖騰」。演員的首要挑戰反而不是朝向和觀眾共享的劇本角色，而在於演員必須孤寂地探索「離開的技術」：懸擱日常的想像與作態，離開行動或思惟的慣性，通過身心過程探索獸的各種樣態，創造出另一種存有的形貌。
The set goal of LAB No.2 Cave Dwelling is intriguing actors for it exactly manifests actor’s paradox. It asks actors to dig out “the beast dwelling deep down inside of their subconscious” and transform the beast into “actor’s personal pattern.” The prior challenge for actors is not to share the written character with the audience; instead, the purpose it to set out a lonely journey to explore ``the technique of leaving:” to lay aside the imagination and simulation of everyday life, to abandon the presumption of action and thought, to explore the various pattern of a beast from physical and mental practice, and to create the alternative appearance of being.
