從2012年起，三缺一劇團經歷「LAB計畫—動物轉化」三部曲，回到古典三位一體的思維來重新探索當代演員的身體性，建立一個進入動物身體的探索地圖。

瑜伽裡的動物神話可以轉化成體位法，而成為修行者的通道； 武術裡的動物可以轉化成身體的動能法則，成為武者對敵時的武器； 動物與我們互為象徵和隱喻，透過動物，我們投射自身的嚮往，也揭露自身的黑暗。這是一場演員的身體旅程， 一個透過動物自我窺看的變形之旅。 

一個夢見鯨魚的船員，

一隻穿梭在爭執字句裡的貓，

一群關在籠子裡互相鬥毆的雞，

一條蠢蠢欲動掀起洪水氾濫的蛇，

四張沒有臉的生物，

串連起《山海經》、《米蒂雅》、現代英雄的生命樂章。

從清晰到曖昧；

從心靈深處到日常對話；從古老神話到當代場景；

從獸到人，從人到獸。

一齣流離的夢境，探尋黑暗裡的光。

Since 2012, One Player Short Ensemble develops through “LAB Project：Animal Transformation” Trilogy, goes back to the classic idea of trinity (Drama, Music, Dance) to explore actor’s physicality nowadays, and creates a map leading into the animal’s physicality. 

In the mythology of animals in Yoga, it could be transformed into different asanas, and could become an access for practitioners. Similarly, martial art transforms the idea of animals into laws of body kinetic energy, and becomes the weapon for a fighter. The animal and the human juxtapose as symbols and metaphors. Through the animal, we project our own yearnings, and at the same time reveal darkness of our own. This is a journey of body for actors, and a process of metamorphosis which we see ourselves through animals. 

A sailor who dreamt of a whale,

a cat darting through words of argument,

cocks in a cage fighting each other to the death,

a restless snake who’s ready to flood the land,

four animals without faces,

moving through The Classic of Mountains and Seas and Medea, they weave the lives of modern heroes as a music movement. 

From clarity to obscurity; 

from deep inside the heart to daily conversations; from ancient myths to modern scenes; from animal to human, from human to animal. 

A wandering dream in search of light in the dark.
